Successful Communication Strategies – Communication is the foundation for all human relationships and breakdowns in communication can have detrimental effects in all aspects of our lives. As an expert in communication disorders, Dr. Jessen provides a unique perspective and teaches tangible tools from her book, 5 Keys to Communication Success. This content is applicable for anyone looking to improve their communication skills in the home, in the workplace, and everywhere in between.
Auditory Rehabilitation & Motivational Interviewing – As the hearing care profession is dominated more and more by technology, the need for professional, patient-centered care becomes increasingly critical to the success of our patients and our practices. Dr. Jessen’s passion for Auditory Rehabilitation led her to create the 5 Keys to Communication Success AR program and publish articles in numerous professional journals. She provides guest lectures on the topic for several Audiology doctoral programs and trains her colleagues at state, national, and international conferences each year.
The Journey of Change – Making a significant change in life can be one of the most difficult challenges we face. Through her own journeys as a mother, business owner, entrepreneur, author and former body builder, Dr. Jessen has learned what it takes to navigate the murky waters of change.
